The Heat are led by former Major Leaguer Trent Oeltjen, who is an Australian baseball legend. However, they have young talent in Joey Wong from the Colorado Rockies organization and Detroit Tigers Double-A prospect Warwick Saupold pitched 4.1 innings and stuck out seven in the 2015 ABL Preliminary Finals.
Perth is led by Luke Hughes who can do serious damage. He is batting a .352, but adds bower with six long balls and 29 RBI's. One guy to watch out for is Tim Kennelly. He is a DH who has a low batting average (.225), but can slug. He has eight homers and 28 RBI's on the season for the Heat.
The Heat also have minor-leaguers Jake Bowey (Houston Astros Rookie-A), Elliott Hargreaves (Cincinnati Reds Rookie-A), Liam Hendricks (Kansas City Royals Triple-A), Joshua Kennelly (Cincinnati Reds Rookie-A), Matt Kennelly (Atlanta Braves Double-A) and Sam Kennelly (Pittsburgh Pirates Rookie-A).
The Bite have three hitters that bat over .300. Right fielder Aaron Miller, third baseman Stefan Welch and Tom Brice who can play anywhere in the outfield. Miller leads the team with a .387 batting average. Welch is second with .307. Miller is also a dominant power hitter. He has racked up a team-high 12 home runs and 33 RBI's over a span of 36 games, which is less than almost all the rest of his team. This guy has serious skill and is a huge asset to the Bite.

The Cincinnati Reds have rights to Dakota Mitchell, who is on the DSL Rojos, a Rookie-A team. Stefan Welch, who has a very good ABL batting average, is on the Boston Red Sox Double-A squad.
